Echoes of Sound and Vision — Biliary & Pancreatic Endoscopy Forum
“Biliary and pancreatic disease management is the true jewel of endoscopy. Only when the ‘bile duct’ and ‘pancreas’ advance together can we break new ground in tackling complex conditions.”
With these words, Prof. Jin Zhendong opened the “e-Surgery Biliary & Pancreatic Disease Management Symposium” on the afternoon of November 7, officially setting the stage for an in-depth academic exchange.

This year’s symposium followed the theme “Echoes of Sound, Visions Through the Scope”, highlighting the coordinated development and clinical integration of EUS and direct-visualization ERCP. The session presented the full clinical pathway of biliary–pancreatic diseases — from diagnosis to therapeutic intervention.

The symposium featured cutting-edge techniques such as EUS-guided puncture and direct-visualization diagnosis and treatment for biliary-pancreatic diseases. The application of ultra-thin cholangioscopy and direct-visualization ERCP demonstrated new possibilities for achieving higher precision in complex interventions.

Under the guiding themes of “Integrated Diagnosis & Therapy” and “Minimally Invasive Precision”, the forum showcased advancements ranging from direct-visualization diagnostics and EUS-guided interventional therapy to the exploration of AI-assisted clinical decision-making. Together, these developments reflect a clear trend toward more visualized, precise, and intelligent approaches in biliary–pancreatic care, offering new clinical pathways for the future.

Ideas sparked, and academic brilliance shone throughout the room. Experts engaged deeply with one another on clinical cases and new technologies. The audience responded with enthusiasm — snapping photos, discussing insights, and taking careful notes. A packed hall, vibrant discussions, and continuous applause reflected the thriving academic energy within the field of biliary and pancreatic endoscopy.

At the MICRO-TECH booth, academic exchange met hands-on practice, merging innovation with real-world experience.

An immersive practice journey unfolded across three Hands-on Zones—ESD, EUS, and ERCP—featuring pancreatic cyst drainage solutions, the Golden Combination, the eyeMAX™ system, and MICRO-TECH’s broad family of clips. Experts operated directly on realistic tissue models, experiencing firsthand the clinical power of “skill in the hand, clarity in the mind.”

Global Dialogue | Tackling Hot Topics in Biliary–Pancreatic Therapy
On the afternoon of November 8, the MICRO-TECH booth became a hub of international exchange as experts from multiple countries convened for an open dialogue on biliary–pancreatic treatments.

Discussions centered on clinical strategies for peroral cholangioscopy and pancreatoscopy, covering topics from transparent cap use in radiation-free ERCP to global experiences with ultra-slim cholangioscopes. By comparing diverse international practices, the session generated fresh ideas and shared directions for future innovation.

During the session on “Clinical Application of LAMS in EUS-Guided Interventions,” pancreatic cyst drainage stents demonstrated their versatility—from PFCs and WON to bile duct and gallbladder drainage and even GI anastomosis. Experts from China, Pakistan, and other regions exchanged insights on stent selection, sizing, and optimal timing for necrosectomy, creating a highly engaging and practical discussion.

With perspectives crossing borders and disciplines, the booth’s workshop space became an international platform where experience met innovation. These exchanges injected global inspiration into CCDE 2025 and fueled continued academic momentum.
