Chonburi, Thailand – January 9, 2025 – MICRO-TECH celebrated the groundbreaking of its Thailand Manufacturing Center with a formal ceremony held in the Laem Chabang Industrial Estate, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. The event marks a significant milestone in the company’s global expansion and its commitment to serving international markets with high-quality medical devices.
Distinguished guests in attendance included Ms. Donlaporn Ajavavarakula, Director of the Investment Division and Consul of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Shanghai (representing the Thailand Board of Investment, BOI); Mr Long Xiaohui, Chairman of MICRO-TECH; Mr Leng Derong, CEO; Mr Chris Li Changqing, Executive President; company board members, senior executives, and shareholder representatives; representatives from the Thai local government and Laem Chabang Industrial Estate, including Mr Liu Hui; Ms Ma Yanling from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT); Mr Gong Jian, representative of the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce; Mr Pongnarin Narinthon from the IEAT Laem Chabang Industrial Estate; and Mr Gao Honggang, Chairman of the Fourth Design and Research Institute of Machinery Industry (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the general contractor for the project.The ceremony officially commenced at 10:00 am local time.

In his keynote speech, Mr Long Xiaohui, Chairman of MICRO-TECH, emphasized that the Thailand Manufacturing Center represents a strategic milestone for the company. “Establishing a presence in Thailand is not only about delivering high-quality medical products to patients around the world,” he noted. “It also represents a new platform for innovation, trade, and international collaboration.”





The ceremony was followed by a thank-you luncheon hosted by CEO Mr Leng Derong, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all guests and partners for their unwavering support. “What we planted today is a seed,” he said. “By this time next year, we hope it will blossom—and in the years ahead, grow into a strong and thriving tree.”
Once completed, the Thailand Manufacturing Center will feature state-of-the-art equipment and intelligent production lines, capable of large-scale manufacturing of advanced medical devices. Its products will primarily serve markets in the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia. The center will also collaborate with local universities and research institutions to establish an integrated innovation ecosystem that enhances MICRO-TECH’s global R&D capabilities.
This project is not only a key pillar of MICRO-TECH’s globalization strategy, but also a practical step in support of the Belt and Road Initiative. The Thailand Manufacturing Center is poised to become a vital hub in MICRO-TECH’s international journey—furthering its mission to deliver life-improving medical technologies to patients around the world.
