The SureTrac traction system is designed for tissue retraction in the gastrointestinal tract to support the exposure, dissection, and removal of tissue.
With its tried-and-tested clip and elastic silicone band, the preloaded SureTrac system enables efficient tissue tension to improve the view of the dissection area. Traction is achieved by hooking a second clip into one of the four available rings.
SureTrac can be used with two traction techniques, including:
- Wall-to-tissue block
  
  The primary clip is attached to the target tissue and the second clip to the gastrointestinal wall. The tension from the silicone band elevates the tissue flap to enhance visualisation and facilitate dissection. After completion, the second clip is removed, and the tissue is retrieved with the endoscope. If needed, the band can be cut to extract the primary clip, band, and lesion together, while the secondary clip remains in place.
- Tissue block-to-tissue block
  
  The primary clip with the silicone band is anchored to one end of the target tissue, while the secondary clip engages the band and is fixed to the opposite tissue block. The resulting tension lifts the tissue flap for improved visibility to allow precise dissection angles. At the end of the procedure, the tissue, clips, and band are removed using appropriate retrieval methods.
